Services that help operate Turf Talk
Turf Talk uses service providers to operate its website and app. These may include Supabase for authentication, databases, realtime features, and file storage; Cloudflare Stream for live-video ingest, processing, delivery, and recordings; Stripe or another payment provider for subscriptions; Google or direct sponsors for advertising and measurement; Expo and app-store services for mobile delivery; OpenAI for authorized media-processing features; email delivery providers; and podcast hosting or analytics providers, including Podcast.co, when episodes are played.
If you choose Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in, that provider processes the sign-in request under its own privacy policy and shares the account information needed to create or access your Turf Talk account.
When information is shared
We share information with vendors only as needed to provide, secure, measure, and improve the service. Public profile fields and community posts are visible to other users as indicated in the product. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money.
Cookies and local storage
The website and app use cookies or device storage to keep you signed in, remember settings, support security, understand service performance, limit repeated ads, and measure advertising. Where required, non-essential advertising storage is used only after the applicable consent choice. Blocking required storage may prevent account and community features from working.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect Turf Talk and its community. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Update your public profile and newsletter preferences from your account.
- Delete or edit eligible community content using the controls provided, subject to moderation and recordkeeping needs.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your account information by contacting Turf Talk.
- Disconnect a social sign-in through the relevant provider and contact Turf Talk if you also want the linked account removed.
Children
Turf Talk is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
